Dock Ellis was an awesome crazy pitcher in the 1970's for Pittsburgh. This blog sums him up pretty well.
He's most famous for throwing a no-hitter after dropping acid. So why don't more pitchers consume LSD before they pitch? Sure, it'd be bad for their health, but it'd be more entertaining for the rest of us.
